When we planned our workshop upgrade, the choice between CO2 and fiber laser cutting came down to speed, running cost and the metals we cut most often.

Fiber lasers move through thin sheet several times faster than CO2 and handle reflective metals such as aluminium and stainless steel without the mirror wear that plagues older systems.

With no gas resonator and far fewer optics, maintenance is lighter, uptime is higher and the cut edge is clean enough that most parts head straight to bending or welding.
